The Web-based Patient Portal is quick and easy and allows patients and doctors to communicate securely over the Internet. Patients are given secure passwords that allow them to log into their personalized websites. Doctors can instantly send health maintenance reminders to patients for their procedure due dates and send patient statements and lab results electronically. In addition, the portal allows patients to enter their medical history on-line, send messages, conduct web consults, refill prescriptions, check lab requests, and schedule appointments.
