There are many third-party software products that allow medical practices to further reduce the need for staff members executing repetitive, non-revenue producing tasks. The challenge is to incorporate the use of these products into the EHR/EMR architecture to avoid duplication of data entry. In a typical EHR/EMR deployment there is always a need for a live interface with other HL7-compliant systems, such as Hospital based systems, reference labs and PACS. Physician’s Trust has facilitated the design and implementation of various HL7 interfaces further reducing duplication of data entry. We work closely with various software and device vendors who support the HL7 architecture.
