Tufts Medical Center and NEQCA Select eClinicalWorks EMR/PM (November 3, 2008)
New England Quality Care Alliance, Inc. (NEQCA) and Tufts Medical Center are Implementing Unified Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management System to Improve Efficiency and Patient Care
eClinicalWorks™, a market leader in ambulatory clinical systems, today announced that Tufts Medical Center and the New England Quality Care Alliance, Inc. (NEQCA), the physician network of Tufts, have selected eClinicalWorks unified electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management (PM) software, placing the system in both the academic and community settings. As part of this agreement, eClinicalWorks EMR/PM software is available to nearly 900 primary care and specialty physicians as well as 421 residents. eClinicalWorks Patient Portal will also be used to improve patient communication.

Hoag Hospital of Orange County, Calif, Selects eClinicalWorks and Physician's Trust for its EHR Subsidy Program (October 6, 2008)
Physician's Trust, an electronic medical records (EMR) workflow consulting firm for physician offices, announced today it has signed an agreement with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian to be an approved eClinicalWorks vendor. As part of this agreement Physician’s Trust will transition physicians affiliated with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian that select eClinicalWorks to the ECW's unified electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management (PM) software. Physician's Trust will also offer qualified Hoag Medical Staff Members custom EMR transition plans based on office workflow, training and ongoing support programs based on eClinicalWorks EMR/PM solution.
eClinicalWorks EMR Receives 08 CCHIT Certification (September 30, 2008)
The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT®) today announced that eClinicalWorks's product eClinicalWorks EMR Version 8.0 is a CCHIT Certified® 08 Ambulatory EHR, additionally certified for Child Health Production, and meets the Certification Commission’s electronic health record (EHR) criteria for office-based use. Ambulatory EHRs are designed for physician offices and clinics where most Americans get their healthcare. The Commission — a private, nonprofit organization — is the Recognized Certification Body in the United States for certifying health information technology products.
El Camino Hospital of Mountain View, CA Selects eClinicalWorks EMR/PM for Its Affiliated Physicians (September 22, 2008)

Notice: Printing Tamper-Resistant Prescriptions
As of April 1, 2008, all printed Medicaid prescriptions must be printed on tamper-resistant paper. The eClinicalWorks application can accommodate printing to tamper-resistant prescription paper as required. eCW currently supports printing to different printers and the application can be configured by practices to prompt the prescriber to choose the appropriate printer that contains the special tamper-resistant paper (or allows time for paper to be changed in a single printer in use by the practice).
