As of April 1, 2008, all printed Medicaid prescriptions must be printed on tamper-resistant paper. The eClinicalWorks application can accommodate printing to tamper-resistant prescription paper as required. eCW currently supports printing to different printers and the application can be configured by practices to prompt the prescriber to choose the appropriate printer that contains the special tamper-resistant paper (or allows time for paper to be changed in a single printer in use by the practice).
